Missions
• Prepare, review, and file timely and accurate indirect tax returns (HST, GST) in applicable jurisdictions.
• Reconcile tax reports and general ledger accounts; resolve discrepancies with Finance and AP teams.
• Support tax audits, respond to notices, and provide documentation to tax authorities.
• Maintain and update tax rates, codes, and rules
• Monitor and interpret changes in indirect tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
• Assist in indirect tax planning, compliance strategies, and process automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new business initiatives, product rollouts, and system implementations to ensure proper tax treatment.
• Document processes and maintain up-to-date indirect tax policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or other tax-related certification preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in indirect tax compliance, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional environment
• Solid understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of indirect tax, and experience handling audits and CRA inquiries.
