What do we do? Our mission is to radically accelerate the pace of software development by empowering every engineer to ship at the speed their agents write code. We’re building the last piece of the puzzle to enable this - the part that makes it actually safe to ship. AI is enabling engineers to write code faster than ever before. But software review and testing hasn’t caught up. Engineering leaders are drowning in long software review cycles and more bugs than ever. The bottleneck isn’t writing code anymore, it’s everything that comes after it. We spent 3 years building patented foundational technology to solve this. Our CTO, Quentin, spent over a decade at Palantir, where he led the 0 to 1 of core products that insiders credit as the primary value drivers behind Gotham and Foundry. Since then, we’ve grown 5x year-on-year and now work with top engineering orgs - Notion, ElevenLabs, Mercor, Dropbox, Discord, LaunchDarkly, Wiz, CoreWeave, Wealthsimple, and more. You’ll be joining us at a pivotal time. We’ve raised $20m from Chemistry, Menlo and Coatue, the same investors behind Twilio, Twitch, Intercom and PagerDuty and are backed by angels including the founders of Vercel, Datadog, Segment, Dropbox, the CTO of GitHub, CPO of Adobe, head of engineering at Cursor and many more. This is an opportunity to join a company going through hypergrowth as we scale from millions of annual recurring revenue to $100m ARR. If this excites you, come help us build it! What is the opportunity? Join us as a Founding AE hire in London and own the full sales motion end-to-end, from first discovery to strategising pilot deployment to closing the deal. Most AEs work a narrow slice of the stack, repeating the same sales scripts and motion deal after deal and handing off to a sales engineer the moment a conversation turns technical. Here, you’ll own the sales cycle from discovery to pilot, then stay on as deployment lead to make sure it actually succeeds. You’ll own technical conversations, building real technical authority with engineering leaders and understand exactly what their software development workflow looks like, why they buy and what they’d like to see different about the product. This is an IC role, there is no team beneath you and no one to delegate work to. Examples of what you will work on • Own end-to-end cycles: You’ll build and manage your own sales pipeline, win pilots and close deals, growing to lead a geography or sector or team as we scale • Lead enterprise sales: Navigate complex sales cycles with the world’s leading mid-market and enterprise tech businesses (up to $XXX BN market cap), initially securing low-six then mid-six figure deals • Strategise complex deployments: Work alongside our engineers on pilots to figure out how to make them successful, run training sessions and build strong relationships at the user level • Help steer our roadmap: You’ll become the best person in the company at explaining and pitching the product and can take specific customer feedback back to our product teams • Events: You’ll network with CTOs & engineering leaders, attend our dinners and conferences across the US, and become well-known in this space You will love this role if • ⭐ You learn fast and want to dive deep into the product - you have strong analytical thinking and can work from first principles; ambiguity / lack of experience in a technical domain doesn’t faze you / you are excited to learn! • ⭐ You are highly agentic - you have a bias to action, move fast, take ownership without being asked (e.g. if you need sales collateral you build it yourself!) • ⭐ You’re a hunter - chasing down revenue feels energizing, not exhausting or stressful, you create your own pipeline if there isn’t one! • ⭐ You want to work with engineers - you will spend most of your time externally and internally with developers, and this excites you! This role is not for you if • You expect to work regular working hours and to travel infrequently; our teams, customers, investors span SF, London, NY • You need a team of BDRs, RevOps and Marketing to support you across the sales motion • You expect to lean entirely on engineers for technical demos and discovery calls • You expect never to have to build your own pipeline Requirements • STEM degree • 3-7 years of work experience outperforming in a B2B SaaS sales, strategic deployment or adjacent role • Experience with outbound-led sales • Bonus if you have experience selling a deeply technical product to senior engineering leaders or have been an early GTM hire (< #20) at a fast growing startup • If you were previously or are currently a software engineer with strong commercial acumen looking to pivot into tech sales, we’d strongly encourage you to apply! You may look like this • Ex-STEM: You were always on the STEM track but realised being around people is what drives you! You are currently an AE but want to go back to doing something that is a bit more technical. • Builder: You are an AE but were previously a founder, have been part of an incubator (YC, EF, Antler) or want to be a future founder. You spike at commercial work but want to build knowledge outside of that to be a more well rounded leader in the future. • Early-stage operator: You have been or want to be an early founding hire to help shape what sales looks like and work to build up the processes, materials and strategy that will help us win! • AI lover: You work in b2b sales but feel like AI is developing so quickly you’re being left behind and want to build out a more technical skillset Perks ♥️ • Competitive comp + significant equity • 🍲 Unlimited food & drinks in office - including daily lunch as a team, and your own Amazon business account to buy whatever snacks you want for the office. • 💻 A setup you’ll love - everyone has a standing desk, brand new Macbook, your choice of ergonomic peripherals, and a £2k WFH budget to make home just as good • 🏄‍♀️ £300 monthly wel
