Sutherland is seeking a qualified Network Engineer to join our Bulgaria team! If you have deep enterprise network engineering experience, we want to hear from you! In this role you'll get to: Network Engineering & Architecture • Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions. • Develop and maintain network architecture standards, diagrams, and technical documentation. • Evaluate and recommend network technologies, hardware, and software solutions. • Lead network upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives. Operations & Support • Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network incidents and outages. • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues. • Ensure network availability, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance. • Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as required. Security & Compliance • Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, NAC, segmentation, and secure remote access. • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. • Support compliance, audit, and risk management requirements. • Maintain network security standards and best practices. Cloud & Infrastructure Integration • Design and support connectivity to Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI. • Integrate network services with enterprise infrastructure platforms. • Support hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud networking architectures. • Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions where appropriate. Project Leadership • Lead technical aspects of network-related projects from planning through implementation. • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders. • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the team. • Develop project plans, implementation procedures, and testing strategies. • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience. • Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, and network security technologies. • Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, or similar enterprise platforms. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Experience supporting large-scale and mission-critical environments.
