The Role As a Senior/ Lead Deployment Engineer, you are the hands-on owner of Celonis delivery for your customers. The Work You’ll Do • Run discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases. • Build and configure the analytical core on the platform—data models, process analyses, and dashboards —directing Celonis's AI deployment tooling to move fast and validating every output for accuracy and business relevance. • Lead value workshops to pinpoint root causes of process inefficiencies and define the KPIs that quantify business impact. • Design and deploy the operational solutions —automations, action flows, and AI-powered insights— that put the platform to work in users' day-to-day decisions. • Present business cases to senior (VP- and C-level) stakeholders and secure their sign-off on the value realization plan. • Drive adoption: Enable key users to run and extend the solution independently, and document design decisions for a clean handover. • Manage delivery against timeline, scope, and customer expectations. • Act as a subject-matter expert in pre-sales, helping shape and scope engagements (approach, solution blueprint, and effort estimates). The Qualifications You Need • Supply Chain Experience: 4+ years in Management, IT or data consulting, or process improvement consulting within software vendors. For Senior DE: 6+ years with demonstrated project leadership. • Systems fluency: Hands-on familiarity with the systems where supply chain runs: SAP (MM/SD/PP, S/4HANA, APO/IBP) or equivalents such as Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, or Blue Yonder. • Data & technical skills: Deep data fluency: proficiency in SQL and Python, strong data-modelling skills, and ease turning large, complex datasets into an analysis-ready foundation. You reason about data structurally, with an instinct for relationships, granularity, and data quality. Prior hands-on experience with Celonis is a plus. • AI fluency: Curiosity and comfort using AI-assisted tools in your work (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.), and the willingness to keep learning as they evolve. Experience with prompt engineering or context engineering is a strong plus. • Business and process expertise : Strong understanding / deep expertise (based on seniority level) of enterprise Supply Chain processes and performance metrics. • Analytical mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with a value-driven orientation. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and quantify business impact. • Consulting & communication: Ability to steer customer workshops, present to management, manage expectations, and deliver through ambiguity—equally at ease with technical and business audiences. • Languages: Professional fluency in French and English is required. • Education: Master’s in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field. • Travel: Willingness to travel to customer location up to 50%, according to customer requirement and project delivery phases.
