This position is part time, 20 hours per week. School Information: Based in Michigan, PrepNet Virtual Academy opened in 2020 and serves students K-12 online. Duties and Responsibilities: • Collaborating with the administrator over special education to develop and coordinate daily service schedules, evaluation timelines, and annual IEP meetings • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility determinations, annual reviews, and progress monitoring discussions • Conducting speech and language evaluations and contributing to assessment planning as part of the special education process • Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized speech-language goals aligned with each student’s IEP • Providing specially designed instruction to meet the unique communication needs of students through a variety of service models. • Documenting service delivery, progress notes, and compliance-related paperwork in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines • Consulting with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies across classroom and home environments • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. • Other duties as assigned.
