Description du poste
Make your next big career move by applying as KMC Solutions’ next CREW CABIN COORDINATOR!
The Operational Cabin Management System (OCMS) and database was developed to streamline the process for shipboard and shoreside personnel (i.e. traveling positions, contractors, vendors, and other CCL team members) who are seeking to secure cabins for business/operational purposes. Centralized within the shoreside Corporate Office, the coordinator will be primarily responsible for handing pre and post dry dock cabin requests: blocking guest cabins in accordance with the pre and post dry dock cabin booking matrix, processing all requests, updating the pre and post dry dock matrix, providing updates to the Technical Operations Director, Guest Operations Leader, Technical Operations Manager, Guest Services shoreside, and the Director of Marine Process Improvement at scheduled intervals, contacting all requestors to ensure that cabins are still needed, and releasing any unused cabins 30 days prior to sailing. The coordinator will ensure that all requests are handled in a transparent, equitable and timely manner; and that spare crew cabins are utilized in the most effective manner thereby minimizing the use of guest cabins whenever possible.
The coordinator will also follow up on all other cabin requests at 90 day and 30 day intervals, to confirm that cabins are still needed.
On top of your salary, here are the exciting benefits you can look forward to:
• Comprehensive health benefits
• Work flexibly from anywhere in over 20+ workspace locations
• Access to KMC's exclusive pantry (MadMax Coffee, Fresh Fridge)

• Accessible Cloud HR platform (Sprout)

• Responsible for organizing the approval and assignment of guest cabin requests, when required.
• Update reports, statistical tools database, and workbooks using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and other databases in a timely manner to include No Show and Guest Cabin Usage Logs, delivery status notification emails, and daily updates fleetwide.

• Possesses professional verbal and written English Skills.

DECISION-MAKING
• Decisions affect the long-term direction and policy of the entire company. These decisions affect the short-term and long-term performance of CCL. Strategic decisions are high-risk because their outcomes are largely unknown and have a huge impact. These types of decisions are usually made at the top level of a company. Examples are: New services, acquisitions. (VPs+).
• Decisions focus on intermediate-term issues. The purpose of decisions made at this level are to help move CCL closer to reaching strategic goals. Outcomes are predictable. After a decision is made by Top Executive Leadership, the next phase is to take the needed steps to implement it. Examples are: The amount of money required to implement, which advertising agency to promote a new service or to provide an incentive plan to employees to encourage increased revenue. (Typically Directors+).
• Decisions focus on day-to-day activities within the company. Decisions made at this level help to ensure that daily activities proceed smoothly and therefore help to move the company toward reaching a strategic goal. They have short term consequences. Examples are: Handling employee conflicts, purchasing materials needed for operations. (Typically Professional, Individual Contributors, up to Managers).
• These decisions are those that are repetitive decisions on a recurring basis and are commonly related to daily activities. They are relatively simple, relying on historical data and previous solutions. Examples are: reordering of standard office supplies, handling transactions.(Non-Exempt).
