Overview • World Business Lenders (WBL) provides short-term, real estate-backed commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States. • This is a fully remote position for an analytical professional with strong critical-thinking, investigative, documentation, and communication skills. About the Role • Within IDEA — Intelligence, Data, Engineering & Analytics — this hands-on role supports business users with reporting, analysis, and data questions under the Analytics & Decision Support function. What Success Looks Like • Deliver accurate reports on time, resolve routine requests independently, and communicate findings and blockers clearly. Typical Day-to-Day • Clarify and prioritize business data requests. • Prepare reports, investigate discrepancies, and explain findings. • Coordinate fixes, validate changes, and document resolutions. Key Objectives for This Role (Quarterly Focus) • Learn WBL’s data and lending processes, take ownership of assigned reports, and improve recurring workflows. What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities) • Support business teams with reporting, data analysis, and day-to-day data requests. • Prepare and maintain recurring management reports, dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical outputs. • Perform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support operational and management decision-making. • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs and translate them into clear analytical requirements. • Investigate data questions, discrepancies, and reporting issues and coordinate with the appropriate data or technology teams to resolve them. • Review data and reporting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. • Support the development and documentation of enterprise KPIs, metric definitions, and reporting standards. • Help business users understand and effectively use available data, reports, and self-service analytical tools. • Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate recurring reporting and analytical processes. • Assist with testing and validation of new reports, datasets, metrics, and analytical products. • Support other analytical projects and initiatives as assigned.
