Business Development Manager, SevenRooms

About Wolt At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. About the team The sales team at SevenRooms is on a mission to reshape the hospitality industry by empowering operators to take control of their guest relationships. We're a passionate, high-performing group of go-getters who act as trusted advisors to restaurants and hospitality groups around the world. We take a consultative approach to sales: identifying business gaps, crafting thoughtful solutions, and helping operators reduce reliance on third-party networks. We believe in the power of hospitality, and we're proud to partner with businesses to streamline operations and deliver magical guest experiences every day. About the role As a Business Development Manager based at Wolt's HQ in Kamppi, Helsinki, you'll join a small, close-knit team with broad, hands-on responsibilities covering the full customer lifecycle: sales, business development, and account management/customer success. You'll work directly with restaurants and hospitality groups across Finland to understand their business needs and recommend the best-fit SevenRooms solutions, from reservations and table management to online ordering and marketing automation. You'll drive new business by adding operators to the platform, then stay closely involved post-signing to manage the relationship, support onboarding, and help ensure long-term success and retention. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership and variety than a traditional, narrowly-scoped sales role offers. As a Business Development Manager, you will • Build and Manage a Sales Pipeline. Identify and engage prospective restaurants and hospitality groups across Finland to grow your book of business. • Showcase the Platform. Present the value of SevenRooms through compelling demos and conversations that help operators understand how we can support their success. • Lead Sales from Start to Finish. Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, contracting, and go-live support. • Manage and Grow Accounts. Stay closely involved after the deal closes, building account plans, spotting expansion opportunities, and acting as a hands-on point of contact for customer success. • Be a Trusted Partner. Build strong relationships with prospects and clients, always advocating for their success and acting as a true advisor throughout the process. • Wear Multiple Hats. Join a small team with broad ownership across sales, business development, and account management, shaping how we grow in the Finnish market. Our humble expectations • You have 3+ years of experience in technology sales, business development, or account management/customer success • You have a background in hospitality or restaurants (a big plus!) • Fluency in Finnish and English is required, and you're confident presenting to clients both in person and virtually • You're self-driven and comfortable working independently, whether in the office or remotely • You're tech-savvy and quick to pick up new tools and platforms • You're results-oriented and bring energy and focus to your daily work • You've worked with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or similar systems You're open to occasional travel within Finland to connect with clients face-to-face Why you’ll love it 🚀 Global and growing fast: Join a rapidly scaling international company. 🤩 Ride of a lifetime: Accelerate your career while mastering sales excellence. 💪 Instant impact: Take ownership and help shape a new business segment from the ground up. 💙 Big hearts, small egos: Work alongside smart, supportive teammates who care. Next steps If you’re excited to work in a high-growth environment, take ownership, and be part of an ambitious team, we’d love to hear from you.
