• System Administration: Manage Odoo access rights, user roles, security protocols, and system backups to ensure high availability and data integrity. • Configuration & Customization: Configure Odoo core modules (Manufacturing/MRP, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, and HR) to fit the specific workflows of a large-scale manufacturing plant. • Module Development: Develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules and applications using Python, XML, and JavaScript. • Integration & API Management: Maintain and build integrations between Odoo and external systems, including e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, biometric attendance machines, and shipping providers. • Database Management: Administer PostgreSQL databases, optimizing queries, managing indexing, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks. • Troubleshooting & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for technical support, diagnosing bugs, and resolving system issues promptly to minimize operational downtime. • Data Migration: Execute data migration strategies from legacy systems into Odoo during upgrades or module rollouts. • Training & Documentation: Create comprehensive user manuals and conduct technical training sessions for department heads and end-users.

Required Technical & Soft Skills • Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templates. • Deep understanding of Odoo architecture, MVC design patterns, and Web Services (REST, XML-RPC). • Hands-on experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian) and hosting environments (Odoo.sh, AWS, or local servers). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in manufacturing workflows preferred. • Fluent in English (written and verbal); working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
