We partner with teams across the company to deliver reliable insights and data that security decisions, detections, and enforcements rely on. About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer on the Security Infrastructure team, you will shape security observability and detection capabilities by integrating with various infrastructures, acquiring logs and data, and making them searchable to derive intelligence. Our Security Detections, Insider Risk, Threat Hunting and many more programs depend on the platform the team builds and owns. In this role, you will: • Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of our SIEM as an infrastructure, and develop data pipelines that acquire huge amounts of data across all of our infrastructure surfaces. • Collaborate with various security teams, data platform teams, and other infrastructure teams in building solutions that scale. • Do hands-on work on data processing, data lake solutions, elasticsearch and other technologies that make security data analysis possible. Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams, even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk. • You think deeply about how heterogeneous data could be made searchable, architecture that enables processing petabytes of data efficiently, solutions that are reliable and scalable — and you enjoy making that infrastructure invisible to the teams that depend on it. • You're comfortable operating at multiple levels of abstraction, from understanding a specific data at its source to the experience of reliably gathering intelligence from it. • You're a pragmatic builder who ships durable solutions in fast-moving environments. The base salary range for this role is $153,000 to $204,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
