Staff Software Engineer – AI EdTech (Remote) Location: Remote, USA Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $200K–$250K base Equity: Equity package Visa Sponsorship: Not available About This Role We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience to serve as a key senior individual contributor at a mission-driven, AI-native EdTech startup. You'll work directly with the CTO to take ownership of substantial parts of the codebase, independently identifying what needs doing and carrying projects from idea to production. The company has grown to hundreds of thousands of users and more than 1,000 school and district customers, and your code will ship to production in hours, not weeks. This is a high-agency role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, lean environment where your work directly impacts literacy outcomes for students.
