Responsibilities

• Franchisee Capability Building: Assess organizational and training needs, then help franchisees establish scalable onboarding, certification, coaching, and leadership-development systems. • Emerging Market Training Strategy: Translate market and network growth plans into focused training priorities, support plans, milestones, and routines that build long-term capability. • New Restaurant Readiness: Partner with New Restaurant Opening teams and franchisees on pre-opening preparation, training plans, leadership readiness, opening execution, and post-opening stabilization. • Operational Performance Enablement: Use restaurant observations, business reviews, guest and operational insights, and training data to identify capability gaps and recommend practical solutions. • Leadership and Bench Development: Strengthen the capability of franchisees, Above Restaurant Leaders, Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Network Trainers through coaching, facilitation, and development planning. • Training System Sustainability: Help franchisees move from brand-led support toward self-sustaining training systems with clear ownership, standards, tools, and accountability. • Program Activation: Lead or support training for national and regional initiatives, including products, technology, guest experience, food safety, operational processes, and leadership programs. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the training connection point across Franchisee Growth, Operations, Marketing, Development, New Restaurant Opening, and Analytics to provide one coordinated support plan. • Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Track adoption, readiness, certification, and performance indicators; share insights; and adjust support based on results and market maturity.

This critical role helps Dunkin’ build sustainable, profitable growth in new and emerging markets by strengthening franchisee training systems, leadership capability, operational readiness, and execution. The Field Training Growth Manager serves as the high-touch training partner within the Emerging Markets support model, working alongside Franchisee Growth Consultants, Field Operations, New Restaurant Opening, Marketing, Development, and Analytics partners. The role helps franchisees build the people, training, and operating disciplines required to open stronger, stabilize faster, deliver a consistent guest experience, and scale with confidence. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in restaurant and/or retail management with Training, Human Resource, or multi-unit management experience EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION • 5-7 years experience in restaurant or retail training, multi-unit operations, franchise consulting, organizational development, new restaurant openings, or related work. Experience coaching franchisees and above-restaurant leaders is preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks accordingly • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting • Must be able to build credibility and trusting relationships • Good oral, written and interpersonal skills • Project Management skills • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills • Ability to influence & persuade without authority • Demonstrates strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or equivalent • Ability to conduct meetings and facilitate effective and engaging trainings in person and virtually. • Sound business judgement and decision-making skills • Change management • Strong presentation skills • Recognizes and provides feedback on better and innovative ways to accomplish objectives • Helps identify and resolve project related risks and issues Travel • Approximately 70-90% travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities. It could be up to 5 consecutive nights away from home to support training.
