Requirements
What you will do:
More particularly:
• Identify incoming documents to insure required documents are received
• Notify Purchasing Department, Planning & Regulatory, of missing documents
• Obtain arrival information from carrier’s offices or websites
• Coordinate carrier release by submitting required bills of lading and freight payments
• Coordinate and prepare entry summary as needed
• Monitor release status of Customs in cooperation with Custom clearance officer
• Communicate shipment status to all involved parties
The ideal candidate should have:
• College Diploma / BSc preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience in relevant position
Job-Specific Skills:
• Intermediate computer and database application skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Basic knowledge of International trade policies (Incoterms), and import, export bureaucracy

As a Imports Officer, you will coordinate release and entry processing for import shipments; arranges for final delivery after release.
