• Comprehensive knowledge of the dynamics of the worldwide marine insurance market.
• Analytical skills to evaluate risks and find appropriate coverage options.
• Outstanding English communication abilities, both written and spoken.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field insurance, maritime commerce, maritime management, etc.is preferred.
• An advantage will be a network of contacts within the marine insurance sector.
• Applicants having prior insurance brokerage industry job experience (and, if any, reinsurance experience) will be at a distinct advantage.
• Obtain a minimum of a Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or any other comparable credentials accepted by MAS.
