You'll review and decide on KYC/KYB cases day-to-day. This position is based in Barcelona ➡️ What you'll do - Review and decide: Analyse client and company KYC/KYB documentation during account opening and decide whether accounts can be validated or rejected. - Call clients directly: Contact clients by phone to request additional documents and explain what's needed — outbound calls are a regular part of the job. - Help subscriptions move forward: Make reminder calls so onboarding doesn't stall. - Keep the queue moving: Monitor pending validations and flag anything at risk of becoming a bottleneck. - Escalate, don't guess: Report blockers and anything outside frontline scope to the backline team. ➡️ What we're looking for - Dutch & English fluency: Fluent written and spoken Dutch; English is Qonto's internal working language. - Comfortable on the phone: you're not afraid of outbound calls — you'll make several a day. - An analytical, detail-oriented mindset: you can review documentation carefully and justify a decision. - Understanding of what's at stake: this isn't a call-centre job — it's a payment institution, and validate/reject decisions carry real compliance weight. ➡️ What we can offer you - Growth at scale: Be part of Qonto's expansion, working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. - A collaborative team: Work with a team that values cooperation, communication, and continuous improvement. - Real tool mastery: Build hands-on expertise with customer service tools like Zendesk, Notion, and others. - Ownership from day one: A hands-on culture where you take on real responsibilities and make real decisions. ➡️ Your future manager You'll report to Francesca De Zotti https://www.linkedin.com/in/francesca-de-zotti-b563b9124/, Team Leader for Qonto's Dutch and Belgium onboarding team. - Her path? Francesca joined Qonto in May 2021, after previous management roles at fast-scaling companies like Meero. - She brings deep experience in team management, with a focus on localising customer service to build the best market-specific user experience. Her team runs on cooperation, communication, and giving everyone room to contribute ideas. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ At Qonto, we understand that true diversity isn’t just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist.
