Responsibilities
• Lead and support mechanics with daily repairs, troubleshooting, and complex technical issues.

• Track mechanic productivity, repair downtime, turnaround times, and outstanding work to identify delays and improve shop efficiency.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial truck and trailer refrigeration units, including Carrier and Thermo King.
• Diagnose mechanical and refrigeration issues, read schematics, recharge systems, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Monitor repair quality, safety, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to shop workflow and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• 3–5 years of experience in trailer maintenance and repair, preferably with commercial refrigeration units.
• Strong knowledge of trailer mechanics, refrigeration systems, and diagnostics.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating mechanics.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to track productivity, downtime, and repair progress.
• Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Valid driver's license and strong problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
