Principal 3Cs Designer | Fully Remote

Are you longing to be part of a world-class international game development team with true professionals in a fun atmosphere?&nbsp;</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced 3Cs Designer to evaluate where we are with our Game through play and tell us what we could do to better it or change.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What we will do together:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and take ownership of features and mechanics aligned with the creative and game directions.</li> <li>Leading development efforts and implementation.</li> <li>Help set quality-bar through hands-on creation and continuous tweaking of 3Cs player mechanics from conception to the final stages of polish.</li> <li>Standardize, document, and communicate (3C) features to the game team.</li> <li>Regularly update and maintain the design documentation that will guide interdependent teams.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Programming, Art, and Level Design to align on expectations, execution, and integration of your features.</li> <li>Participate actively in the production of combat prototypes, from a 3Cs perspective.</li> <li>Adapt to technical and production constraints, reworking your design when needed.</li> <li>Propose improvements to the different tools and pipelines.</li> <li>Help to create a safe environment which allows for open dialogue and encourages new creative ideas.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience working with character, controls, and camera in action-adventure AAA games.</li> <li>Shipped one or more console/PC title.</li> <li>Experience in Unreal – UE5, scripting etc.</li> <li>Solid understanding of game systems, scripting logic and gameplay flow</li> <li>Excellent knowledge and understanding of video game development processes.</li> <li>Experience with scripting in Unreal Engine a plus</li> <li>A passion for games and their development</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Interested… a bit about Escape Velocity:</strong></p> <p>Escape Velocity is a team of passionate, talented developers working at a studio that offers excellent benefits, on what we believe is a once-in-a-career project with a committed publisher.
