Responsibilities
We are looking for an on-site, dedicated and motivated Responsible Pharmacist (Gevestigd / Beherend Apotheker) to lead our online pharmacy in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy management or a supervisory role, with a strong understanding of Dutch pharmacy regulations, including the rules for the online sale of medicines.
In this role, you will be the pharmacist responsible for the pharmacy's operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and compliance with all relevant regulations, and collaborating with a talented team to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription validation, dispensing and safe delivery of medicines to patients.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch pharmacy laws (Geneesmiddelenwet, Opiumwet), online pharmacy requirements, and company policies and standards.
• Verify prescriptions, including those issued through online consultations, and carry out medication surveillance.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock management, cold-chain storage and procurement processes.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks, and act as the main contact for IGJ inspections.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy management or supervisory role; online pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
