If you are looking for interesting and challenging work, at a company committed to its people, find out more about what Aviso has to offer at www.aviso.ca. The Opportunity: We are looking to fill an opening for a Senior Product Manager to join Aviso’s Product Management team and help shape the future of investing for Canadians through a best-in-class wealth advisor platform. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Senior Product Manager will lead the Advisor Hub product family and directly own Advisor Hub ACP, which serves advisors at ACP introducing brokers and portfolio management firms. You will also manage and coach three Product Owners who own the other products in the family. You will help establish and champion our customer-centric product model: empowered, cross-functional teams that discover meaningful customer and business problems, test solutions early, and deliver value incrementally. Working in a leadership triad with a Product Designer and Tech Lead, you are accountable for product value and business viability; the Product Designer leads on desirability and usability; and the Tech Lead and engineers lead on technical feasibility. Together, you share responsibility for product outcomes and make informed trade-offs rather than treating feature delivery as the goal. This is both a hands-on product role and a people leadership role. You will bring a deep understanding of customers, product data and business constraints to the area you own, working with your team to discover solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. Across the product family, you will set direction, guide priorities and coach Product Owners to lead their areas as outcome-oriented product leaders rather than backlog administrators. You will also champion this way of working across Aviso, building trust through evidence, collaboration and incremental results as we continue to adopt the customer-centric product model. As oneaviso:  • We Care – You do the right thing for clients, partners and colleagues. You build trusted relationships, champion service excellence, and contribute to a culture where people feel valued and supported • We Dare –You challenge the status quo with bold ideas and fresh perspectives. You embrace change, seek opportunities to innovate and are comfortable exploring new ways of working • We Share – You collaborate openly and build meaningful relationships. You seek out diverse perspectives, share your knowledge and work together to help colleagues, clients and partners succeed • We Deliver – You take ownership of your work, honour your commitments and focus on delivering meaningful results. You hold yourself accountable and continuously look for ways to improve What your day looks like: • Set product direction and measurable outcomes for the product family with the Director of Product Management; align the areas owned by your Product Owners with customer needs and Aviso’s business priorities • Lead discovery in your own area and coach Product Owners to work with customers, users, data and stakeholders to understand problems, test assumptions, and evaluate opportunities before committing to solutions • Partner with the Product Designer and Tech Lead in the leadership triad to explore options and balance value, viability, desirability and feasibility; involve engineers early and make trade-offs together • Break larger opportunities into small, testable increments; collaborate with the team on a practical release plan, learn from each release, and adapt based on customer behaviour and measurable outcomes rather than feature output alone • Own prioritization and the product backlog for your area, ensuring stories and other work are clear and ordered for implementation; support your Product Owners in doing the same, without taking ownership of engineering implementation or technical delivery • Work with partners in compliance, privacy, operations, marketing, finance and technology to understand constraints early, address dependencies and ensure solutions can work for the business • Manage, coach and develop Product Owners across their product areas, creating clarity on outcomes, strengthening discovery and judgement, and fostering collaborative relationships with design and technology counterparts • Communicate product direction, evidence, trade-offs and results to stakeholders; advocate for the customer-centric product model, demonstrate its value through incremental wins, and help remove organizational barriers to its adoption • Stay curious about investor needs, industry trends and the competitive landscape, using those insights to challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for meaningful improvement Your experience and skills: Innovation benefits from diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. We encourage you to apply if you meet most, even if not all, of the following requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience • Significant hands-on experience managing technology-powered products; typically 8+ years of related experience, though equivalent depth and impact are welcome • Demonstrated understanding of a customer-centric product model and modern product discovery and delivery: identifying opportunities, testing assumptions, working across disciplines, and measuring outcomes.
